The main types of appeals in death penalty cases<\/span><\/a> include direct appeals<\/span>, state habeas corpus proceedings<\/span>, and federal <\/span>habeas corpus<\/span> proceedings<\/span>. Let\u2019s examine each one.<\/p>\n

Direct Appeal<\/span><\/h3>\n
