These include prescription drugs such as Xanax or Valium.<\/li>\r\n<li><b>Schedule V<\/b> are substances with the lowest potential for drug abuse. They may include prescription drugs such as Robitussin cough syrup.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>In Colorado, the category where the controlled substance falls in the drug schedule could impact the severity of drug manufacturing charges. With this, it is unlawful for a person to knowingly:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Process or manufacture any marijuana or marijuana concentrate<\/li>\r\n<li>Allow the processing or manufacturing of marijuana on land they owned, occupied, or controlled<\/li>\r\n<li>Dispense, sell, distribute, or possess with intent to manufacture marijuana or marijuana concentrate<\/li>\r\n<li>Attempt, induce, or conspire with one or more of the abovementioned activities<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.findlaw.com\/criminal\/criminal-charges\/marijuana-legalization-and-decriminalization-overview.html\">Colorado allows individuals<\/a> to cultivate a certain number of marijuana plants for personal use without the need for a license. However, the state places a specific restriction on the number of homegrown marijuana plants for personal use:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Adults 21 years old and above can grow <a href=\"https:\/\/cannabis.colorado.gov\/legal-marijuana-use\/home-grow-laws\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">up to six marijuana plants<\/a>.
