The term fraud<\/a> refers to crimes that involve dishonesty or intentional deception. One common type of fraud is credit and debit card fraud<\/a>. These fraudulent acts can be committed by either the cardholder (the person whom the credit card is issued to), by a provider (a business authorized by the card issuer to accept the card in exchange for money, goods, or services), or by any other person who illegally uses a credit card with the intent to defraud.<\/p>\n
