While applying for a marriage license isn’t complicated, there are some important marriage license requirements<\/a> that you should be aware of. The marriage license application must include the following information for both applicants:

  • Date of application<\/li>\n
  • Full name<\/li>\n
  • Sex<\/li>\n
  • Race<\/li>\n
  • Social security number<\/li>\n
  • Birth date<\/li>\n
  • Occupation<\/li>\n
  • Names and addresses the applicant’s parents<\/li>\n
  • Date and place of previous marriages, civil unions, domestic partnerships, or other substantially similar unions, and termination of these previous unions<\/li>\n
  • Place and court where applicants are on probation or parole, and<\/li>\n
  • Time of application<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>
