Indianapolis, it\u2019s the capital of Indiana and the 13th<\/sup> largest city in the United States. Known as the \u201cCrossroads of America\u201d for its numerous intersecting highways, this is a sports-minded town, home to the Colts<\/a>, the Pacers<\/a>, NCAA basketball<\/a>, and the Indianapolis 500<\/a>.<\/p>\n

If you have a criminal, civil, family law, juvenile, or probate matter, it\u2019s likely in Circuit, Superior Court, or Small Claims division of Marion County.

    Note<\/u>: The Court of Appeals is the second highest court and hears appeals from the state\u2019s trial courts. The Appeals Court does not preside over any trials, only appeals. A decision by the Court of Appeals of Indiana is final unless granted further review by the Indiana Supreme Court. The Court of Appeals has jurisdiction over criminal and civil appeals from the circuit court.     To be eligible for services through Drug Treatment Court<\/b>, offenders must have committed a non-violent drug-related felony, with the exclusion of drug dealing.  The individual must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Marion County, have no history of violent offenses, no criminal history of drug delivery, and have no pending charges outside the county. Only the public defender or private counsel can recommend a person to the program.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n \n \n \n \n \n <\/span>\n <\/span>\n <\/li>\n
