While each state has its own definition of burglary<\/a>, it's usually defined as entering a structure without permission for the purpose of committing a crime. Burglary and the intended crime are usually charged separately, meaning that a person can be guilty of committing a burglary even if the intended crime wasn't completed.<\/p>\r\n
