Child custody is probably one of the most difficult and contentious parts of separating from your child’s other parent. State child custody laws don’t differ too much, since all states (except Massachusetts) have adopted the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act<\/a> (UCCJEA).
