Drug distribution can include trafficking large amounts of illegal drugs across state lines or national borders, transporting drugs from a safe house to the point of sale, or selling directly to buyers.<\/p>\r\n<h2><b>New Jersey Drug Distribution Laws: The Basics<\/b><\/h2>\r\n<p>New Jersey&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/lis.njleg.state.nj.us\/nxt\/gateway.dll\/statutes\/1\/2765\/3200?f=templates$fn=document-frameset.htm$q=%5Brank,100%3A%5Bdomain%3A%5Band%3A2C%3A35-5.%20Manufacturing,%20%5Bor%3Adistributing%20dispensing%5D%5D%5D%20%5Bsum%3A2C%3A35-5.%20Manufacturing,%20distributing%20or%20dispensing%5D%20%5D%20$x=server$3.0#LPHit1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">drug distribution laws<\/a> outline the different types of drugs and amounts of drugs to which the law applies.<\/p>\r\n<p>The type of drugs included in the statute:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.findlaw.com\/state\/criminal-laws\/marijuana-possession-laws-by-state.html\">Marijuana<\/a><\/li>\r\n<li>Heroin<\/li>\r\n<li>Cocaine<\/li>\r\n<li>Methamphetamine<\/li>\r\n<li>Hashish<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>Distribution of the drugs outlined above can result in a prison sentence or jail time.
