Oklahoma City may not be the first place that comes to mind when it comes to the prevalence of drugs and crime. Still, sitting in the middle of the country means the Sooner State also sits in the middle of many drug transport routes. Oklahoma authorities take a serious stance on drug trafficking and crack down on cocaine sales and possession. Both are felonies under state law.<\/p>\r\n

State Cocaine Laws<\/b><\/h2>\r\n

Cocaine is listed as a Schedule II narcotic. This means every state (and the federal government) criminalizes cocaine possession, sale, and trafficking. State cocaine laws<\/a> vary in terms of penalties. The sale of cocaine in Oklahoma could mean up to 30 years in prison and a $300,000 fine. Even simple possession could mean 20 years in prison, depending on the amount and if you have prior convictions.<\/p>\r\n
