San Antonio is the second most populated city in Texas and the seventh most populated in the United States, boasting over 1.3 million people. The city is notable for many things—Spanish missions, the San Antonio Spurs, the Alamo, and numerous military bases.<\/p>\r\n

If you have a court case and live in the Bexar County area, you know there are a variety of courthouses servicing the Greater San Antonio<\/a> metropolitan area.  If you have a criminal, civil, probate or family law matter, it\u2019s likely in one of the district, county, or municipal courts.<\/p>\r\n

Here we\u2019ve highlighted seven key court systems that are the most likely you\u2019ll encounter: the Bexar District County,<\/a> and Municipal Courts<\/a>, the Court of Appeals for the Fourth District of Texas at San Antonio,<\/a> the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Texas<\/a>, U.S District Court for the Western District of Texas<\/a>, and the San Antonio Immigration Court operated by the Department of Justice<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n
