My name is Tami Dodd, and I work with midsized and larger law firms in the South region of the United States. Ten years ago, successful law firms knew they had to meet prospective clients where they are — online. Today, successful law firms know that meeting those prospective clients isn’t enough. Mere presence online alone doesn’t cut it. Instead, it’s critical to actively work consistently and diligently to appeal directly to them. One of the reasons I enjoy working with FindLaw is that we have a full suite of tools that help law firms be found online, and many more that help them build from there to attract new business, generate client interest, and capture new work matters. I like formulating a strategy for my clients and devising ways for them to meet their unique goals. There isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach in this industry, so my aim is to see each and every client for what it is — a unique small business.
