The Tri-Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) announces the region's first "Show Us Your Roots" photo contest. The Tri-Valley CVB seeks quality images of Tri-Valley, California and the cities it represents, including Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin, San Ramon, and Danville. Cash prizes from $250 to $1,000 will be awarded to the photographers who can best capture why Tri-Valley is a unique destination for business and leisure travelers.
"By inviting people to 'show us their roots' we hope to capture the true essence of the Tri-Valley, California brand," said Amy Blaschka, president & CEO of the Tri-Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau. "Having a collection of images created by the people who call Tri-Valley, California home only strengthens our authentic, welcoming, brand positioning."
The Tri-Valley CVB invites both amateur and professional photographers to enter the Show Us Your Roots contest. A maximum of 20 electronic images may be submitted on CD to the Tri-Valley CVB, or online at www.trivalleycvb.com. Entries must be received on or before December 1, 2007. Winning entries will be selected by their depiction of Tri-Valley, as well as overall photo quality. The photographs chosen will be showcased in upcoming print and online marketing materials.
The Tri-Valley CVB is looking for images highlighting Tri-Valley, California as a destination rooted in tradition, celebrating small-town charm, genuine hospitality, and authenticity. Those who live and work in Tri-Valley, California know that the unique views of our region are too many to number. Entrants who can capture the unique quality of Tri-Valley-living are encouraged to participate. Photos with people are encouraged, but any photograph that portrays Tri-Valley, California as an attractive and unique destination will be considered.
