Ex-Gov. Schwarzenegger Making A Movie Comeback
He did say "I'll be back," didn't he?
Now that California's most famous governor has handed the baton over to Jerry Brown, the star of the Terminator movies has some free time on his hands. Arnold Schwarzenegger has announced that he will be making a return to the silver screen soon, the Toronto Sun reports. The famous actor took a break from making movies back in 2003 in order to serve as California governor until the beginning of January 2011.
Being California governor is a demanding political role. Some of the responsibilities that Arnold Schwarzenegger had as governor of California were:
- Liaison between California's state government and the federal government.
- Supervising all executive and ministerial officers.
- Promoting California trade with foreign nations.
- Appointment power.
While Arnold Schwarzenegger was serving as California governor, he claims to have lost $200 million in acting jobs and other expenses, the San Francisco Chronicle reports. We are sure that the Arnold Schwarzenegger movie comeback will help the star recoup his losses. While he was governor, he made cameo appearances in action movies such as Terminator Salvation and The Expendables.
Arnold Schwarzenegger told Austrian newspaper Kronen Zeitung that he is looking over three scripts. The former action star mentioned that he will be moving away from physically demanding roles and focus more on his acting: "Currently I'm reading three scripts. In the future I have to adapt to roles (for) my age. Clint Eastwood also has done it in the same way. Extreme fighting is not possible anymore," quotes Fox News.
