Oregon OKs Domestic Partnerships

By Admin on May 11, 2007 | Last updated on March 21, 2019

Oregon Governor Ted Kulongoski has signed a law that gives same-sex couples in the state the right to enter into a "domestic partnership" beginning on January 1, 2008. Oregon becomes the third West Coast state (along with California and Washington) to allow domestic partnerships to its same-sex citizens.
