Block on Trump's Asylum Ban Upheld by Supreme Court
Catoosa County Magistrate Anthony Peters is a judge no more, having been kicked off the bench by a unanimous Georgia Supreme Court this past Tuesday morning.
Banned from ever holding judicial office in the state of Georgia, Peters, who isn't actually an attorney, was called out for his erratic behavior, including his refusal to take responsibility for his actions, instead choosing to publicly disparage the Chief Magistrate Judge and local Sheriff.
Local attorneys have yet to publicize their plans to celebrate.
In addition to making derogatory remarks about his boss on a local radio station while simultaneously disguising his voice, the Associated Press reports that Anthony Peters also did the following:
On this last one,
Voldemort Peters reportedly pointed the gun at himself and asked his colleague: "I am not scared. Are you?"
His attorney blames this bizarre behavior on prescription drug abuse, which the AP reports started in 2005 after an ATV accident, which occurred shortly after his father's suicide.
Hopefully Anthony Peters has gotten his emotional and drug problems under control, as he's apparently found employment with a north Georgia firm despite his uh, past difficulties. Either way, go ahead and pity his new colleagues.
