SNL's Legal Shark Tank Trolls PI Firm

If you're a fan of Saturday Night Live, there's a good chance you've already seen the new Legal Shark Tank skit.

The premise is simple, like the real Shark Tank TV show, the skit has high-profile, "celebrity" lawyers offering to represent high-profile defendants. And if you're just a little bit sick of all the high-profile real-life legal-drama lately, the skit will surely give you a chuckle.

In case you missed it (or want to watch it again), you can check it out below, and get a little history lesson about the pair of "jingle-based" lawyers.

In addition to daytime TV fan favorites, Michael Avenatti and Rudy Giuliani, the skit features Jeanine Pirro and "the scourge of Martha's Vineyard" Alan Dershowitz.

On top of those big names, the "jingle-based" attorneys Cellino and Barnes, are actual lawyers and were an actual firm, with pretty much that exact same jingle melody. And if you were curious enough to Google Cellino and Barnes, you were likely pleasantly surprised and thoroughly impressed: YouTubers love Cellino and Barnes.

Jingle Contest and Meme

The catchy, yet snarky, Cellino and Barnes jingles in the SNL skit are actually based on the real firm's own jingles.

That is the real jingle, direct from the firm's YouTube channel. That video was uploaded as part of the firm's YouTube challenge in 2011 to get people to submit their own versions of the jingle (to possibly win $1,000).

Over half a decade later, people are still uploading videos, and it even started getting some celebrity traction and was even performed on Broadway!
