Thousands of legal professionals rely on FindLaw everyday to look up cases, statutes and legal information. Now all those attorneys, corporate counsels and paralegals have another place to meet up and interact with FindLaw: on Facebook.

FindLaw now has a Facebook presence with the newly launched FindLaw for Legal Professionals page.

FindLaw's mission on Facebook is simple -- to connect with the legal professionals that use FindLaw everyday. It provides our users with up-to-date news and information that affects the legal profession uniquely, including legal technology news, practice tips and firm management information.

Joining the FindLaw for Consumers page, FindLaw for Legal Professionals on Facebook is a chance for FindLaw to interact with our legal fans by delivering useful tools, interesting news and other cool stuff made just for legal professionals.

FindLaw for Legal Professionals is a comprehensive website dedicated to informing and assisting legal professionals in their everyday practice. From blogs to cases and codes, FindLaw for Legal Professionals is a one-stop shop for all things law.

An interactive wall, legal resource tab and legal service provider tab are just some of the features the new Facebook page has.

Social media can be a great tool, allowing medical providers to connect to patients in new ways, and helping facilities build brands, establish a place in the community, and increase education efforts.

But with social media like Facebook and Twitter comes an increased responsibility, along with an increase in legal liability. So look into all the ramifications before you make the plunge.
