Block on Trump's Asylum Ban Upheld by Supreme Court
Sing it with me: What would you do-ooo-ooo for a Klon-dike bar?
Just replace Klondike Bar with McNuggets, and you're ready for this story.
Khadijah Baseer, 31, was recently arrested on suspicion of prostitution outside a Burbank, Calif. McDonald's. She's been accused of offering sex for McNuggets.
Hopefully she asked for fries, too.
To be fair, Baseer is homeless and hungry. She's known for staking out the fast food joint and soliciting money from customers, according to the Los Angeles Times. With food banks and shelters running short, she may have had no other choice but to turn to prostitution.
In fact, it was only recently that she's started to solicit McDonald's customers for sex. She allegedly approached the manager last week, told him she was hungry, and offered him sex for McNuggets.
A drive-thru customer also claims she opened up his car door and made a similar offer, reports KTLA-TV. He declined.
Police were only called after Baseer refused to leave the premises, according to the Times. At that point, she was trespassing on private property. Panhandlers and persons soliciting sex have no right to remain on property generally open to the public.
She should know this, too. She's had previous run-ins with the law, reports the Times. A police spokesman declined to elaborate, but loitering violations are not all that uncommon amongst the homeless.
Speaking of which, Khadijah Baseer has found temporary shelter in a local prison. She's being held until prosecutors decide how to handle the sex-for-McNuggets incident.
