Hartford Courthouses

Hartford is much more than "the Insurance Capital of the World." It's the city Mark Twain nostalgically wrote, "Of all the beautiful towns it has been my fortune to see this is the chief." Speaking of Samuel Langhorne Clemens, he lived here, and you can even visit his house.

If you're a resident of this 400-year-old city, you know there are several of courthouses in the area.  If you have a criminal, civil, probate or family law matter, it’s probably in the district or area courthouses.
