As home to nearly 2.5 million Charlotteans, the Queen City is the largest city in North Carolina. Charlotte was known as “the hornet’s nest of rebellion” during the Revolutionary War, and, as headquarters to both Bank of America and Wells Fargo, continues to be a major commerce hub. It should probably come as no surprise that the city’s courts are also fairly busy. Residents facing legal problems or a trip to court for any reason can find helpful resources in this section, including a courthouse directory, legal aid resources, and articles on a variety of legal topics.
