Wilmington is much more than a bustling port dubbed, “the Coast Guard City.” It’s a sprawling metropolitan filled with history, culture, and world-class educational institutions. It’s also home to one of the fastest growing television and movie production facilities outside of California. Watch out, Hollywood. Here comes the county seat of New Hanover County!

    Parking: If you are serving on a jury, park at the deck on the corner of Third and Grace Streets, entering from Second Street. There is handicap parking at the rear of the building and handicap accessed at the rear of the building. Consider public transportation.

    Divisions: Criminal, Civil, Small Claims, Traffic, Family

    Note: North Carolina has a unified court system. Most cases will be heard in this courthouse.
