Beaumont and Jefferson County are full of hard-working, law-biding citizens. Although we individually take pride in powering the region with shipping, manufacturing, energy, and other resources, almost everyone needs legal help from time to time.

ILS normally charges a $40 fee, but if your case is related to domestic violence, human trafficking, or another specific crime, the consultation may be free. You may sign in as early as 8:00 AM to ensure that you get an early consultation time.

Tel: (800) 252-9690The State Bar is the organization of lawyers that pushes the profession to provide better service to clients and the public. If you cannot find free services for your particular legal issue, call the referral line during normal business hours. A representative will take your information and refer you to a private attorney who will charge no more than $20 for a half-hour consultation. If for some reason the LRIS is unable to serve you because of either your address or the location of your legal activity, the service will refer you to a program that can help.
