Free Legal Aid in Richmond

Thankfully, Richmond has a long history of success through solidarity. It’s no surprise that Richmond’s culture would yield a large group of attorneys serving the public -- and the interests of justice -- with free and low cost legal services.     CVLAS offers free assistance to local residents in matters related to civil (non-criminal) law. Typical cases cover: civil rights, foreclosure, disabilities, domestic violence, employment, and government benefits, and other issues common to citizens with lower incomes.
