Isobel earned her Juris Doctor (JD) and Bachelor’s (Sociology) from Loyola University New Orleans. She received her Master of Public Health (MPH) from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, where she managed public health policy research initiatives dedicated to chronic disease prevention in vulnerable populations.
The close connection between the social determinants of health and broad disparities in access to justice led Isobel to pursue her career in public interest law. Before joining FindLaw, Isobel represented low-income clients in claims and appeals with the Social Security Administration and the Veterans Administration.
A proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, Isobel regularly advocates for equity and dignity for LGBTQ+ people and other marginalized groups. She previously served on the Board of Directors of Louisiana’s Forum for Equality Foundation. Isobel’s other interests include doting on her two tuxedo cats, international travel, yoga, and trying every known cuisine at least once.
