Olivia is a former civil litigation attorney who writes legal articles for FindLaw.com. She was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho, with her three younger sisters. She then moved to Salt Lake City and earned a bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communications from Westminster College. After graduating from college, she moved to Boise, Idaho, to work as a bartender before attending the University of San Francisco School of Law.

In law school, Olivia worked for the International Cannabis Bar Association just as recreational cannabis was being legalized across the country. She also worked for two different San Francisco firms that specialized in cannabis business disputes. This experience allowed her to be at the forefront of cannabis legislation and regulation. However, after three years in San Francisco, it was time to head back to the mountains.

Olivia passed the Montana State Bar in 2021 and joined a small civil litigation firm in Bozeman, Montana. During her time at the firm, she specialized in real estate litigation and business disputes.

In addition to her legal practice, Olivia loves to spend time in the mountains with her partner and her dog Skeeter. She is also a singer-songwriter and has been playing the guitar since she was 12 years old. Her perfect day includes running in the mountains, camping, and playing songs around the campfire.
