Samantha Weinstein holds a J.D. from California Western School of Law and an LL.M. in environmental and natural resources law from Lewis and Clark Law School. She is licensed to practice law in California, Alaska, and Washington State.

Prior to writing articles, Sam wrote regulations, draft legislation, and newsletters explaining fisheries law in Alaska.
