Update: No Sex in J Lo "Sex Tape," but It's Out of Ojani Noa Project

By Kamika Dunlap | Last updated on

The steamy new film that allegedly included video footage showing J. Lo in revealing lack of clothing and in sexual situations is mainly a bunch of hype.

"There wasn't anything close to sex in it," Lopez's attorney John Lavely told People. "We never alleged that. But it's still private and personal to my client.

Regardless of it being no J Lo sex tape, according to CNN, a Los Angeles judge agreed to uphold a ruling that Lopez's ex-husband Ojani Noa, is forbidden from using 11-plus hours of home video which allegedly features Lopez.

As previously discussed, Lopez sued Noa, to whom she was married to for less than a year, back in 1997 to stop him from shopping his movie around.

Her attorney sent a cease and desist letter over the film, after a casting notice was posted in October on the Internet looking for actors for the movie "How I Married Jennifer Lopez: The JLo and Ojani Noa Story."

The mockumentary film is about Jennifer Lopez's tumultuous first marriage to Ojani No, a Cuban immigrant, chef and model.

Noa has said he will not be stopped from making his mockumentary. The project's title has since been changed to "The Escape" in reference to Noa having fled his home country.

He said he plans to take the videotape case to trial.

His film partner said project was misrepresented by a tabloid as being a J Lo sex tape.

Noa is also being sued by Lopez for breach of contract regarding two confidentiality agreements he previously signed about their relationship.

She seeks $10 million in damages, plus costs, for invasion of privacy, violation of publicity rights and breach of contract.
