Block on Trump's Asylum Ban Upheld by Supreme Court
Taco Bell recently introduced its new $2 dinner value meal as a cheaper choice in a tough economy. But one customer got a lot more than what she bargained for -- $2,000 in cash.
That was the case with the young woman in her 20's who who got cold, hard cash instead of burritos at a Taco Bell drive through, the Dayton Daily News reports.
Apparently, a Taco Bell employee mistakenly handed over the bank deposit filled with the restaurant's morning proceeds.
The manager explained it was store policy to put the bank bag containing the cash deposit in a Taco Bell bag. That way, a manager could drive up to the drive through window, and an employee would hand over the bag.
But that plan backfired and now police are still searching for the college-aged woman driving a silver SUV.
She was last seen at the drive through at the Taco Bell near the University of Dayton campus, officials said.

He was arrested after authorities say he tried to sell a police scanner radio to customers at a Taco Bell drive through.
In this case, the woman who left Taco Bell $2,000 richer had black or brown shoulder-length hair, was wearing a white T-shirt with a red sweater, with a zip-up jacket or sweatshirt over it. Her driver's window apparently didn't work because she had to open her door to get the bag.
A customer who was in line behind the SUV said he could not remember the license plate on the SUV.
So far, the search through the neighborhood for the vehicle has been fruitless. Security cameras didn't catch the license plate of the car.
