In the Groove
You don't have to be a child of the 60s to know what it means to get in a groove. It's a good metaphor for commuters, too, because back in the really old days cars literally had to carve through the mud to make their own roads.
Nowadays, your smartphone can chart the most efficient course and start your rock and roll, too. If you don't have a digital navigator on your device, there are at least five apps for that.
Use Time Wisely
Of course, you could avoid traffic entirely by working remotely. Appearing by phone works in some courts, too, but what fun is that when the road is calling to you?
In any case, you can use that drive time wisely by appropriate multi-tasking. Hands-free phone calls, digitally-assisted dictation or audio-learning good; texting while driving, bad. Also, you can keep up-to-date on the law by listening to a legal podcast, such as FindLaw's Five Cases in Five Minutes Podcast.
Drive Like a Bat
Commuting is nobody's favorite pastime, but at least it can be fun. For example, what better excuse to spend a bonus on a convertible or a sports car?
