Elite Debuts ProLaw XII with .NET Technology, for Your Practice
So how's your law practice management software working for you these days? Or whatever ill-fitting aggregation of word processing, general ledger, spreadsheet and time/billing software you've managed to collect over the years.
Well Elite has rolled out ProLaw XII, its latest enhanced management solution for small- and medium-sized law firms. Released on May 2, ProLaw XII provides a single gathering-point for information about your firm's cases, matters, time entry, billing and accounting capabilities.
Built as part of Elite's OneOffice system, ProLaw XII is engineered to integrate seamlessly with your existing Microsoft Outlook, within the Microsoft .NET framework. ProLaw XII combines case and matter management as well as time entry, billing and accounting capabilities within a single integrated solution.
The new reporting module, which uses SQL technology to allow both pre-formatted and your own customized reports, provides particular utility to the managing partner or committee. Reports allow you to track all of the following, firmwide:
- Budgeted vs. worked hours
- Top clients, matters, and practice areas
- Transactions worked and billed
- Missing time analysis
- Rolled-up financials
- A/R and Work In Progress aging
And the link utility allows you to jump, say, from a client's budgeted-vs.-worked-hours page to that client's billing statement. Useful when deciding whether to accept a new matter from that client, or when a client calls for a fee estimate on seeing a case through to trial.
The numerous pre-formatted templates allow you to use ProLaw XII's management reports, or write your own. And since ProLaw XII uses an interface integrated with Outlook, your staff training time is lessened significantly.
ProLaw XII offers your staff the ability to work smarter. So you can manage smarter.
