How to Celebrate RBG's Birthday
For law firms and lawyers, celebrating Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's birthday is becoming more than just a fun trend, though it most certainly is that.
This year, several different groups are planning to celebrate in a few different ways. From protest planking (more on that below) to partying, there's quite a bit planned for this March 15, and here you can read about how you can get involved.
Plank at SCOTUS or Fed Court
If you live or work near the United States Supreme Court, you might want to grab your yoga mat and show up outside the courthouse for a 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. planking session on March 15, to honor the Justice on her birthday. This celebratory planking is open to all and does not actually require planking. One sponsor of the event however is providing (probably selling) "Plank Like RBG" yoga mats (as well as other RBG merch).
If you can't make it to the High Court, you might want to consider planning your own planking party at the nearest federal court.
Attend (or Host) a Party
If you're in an area with a large legal community, then there's likely already some RBG themed party or legal networking mixer that you can attend. If not, then you should host one, or collaborate with a few other attorneys in the community to jointly sponsor an event to celebrate the Justice. The public is fascinated by and loves the Notorious RBG, and as an attorney, it's an easy topic of mutual interest to connect over while networking with lawyers and non-lawyers alike.
Host a RBG Workout class
If you're not into partying, or mixer events, consider hosting a Justice Ginsburg workout class. You can rent a space or clear out your conference room, and host a fun workout session for colleagues where you all run through the Justice's workout routine.
Make (or Commission) an RBG Cake!
While celebrating birthdays in the office can be dicey and awkward, celebrating Justice Ginsburg birthday with a cake and an hour off to socialize can be great for office morale.
Bonus points for awesome RBG cakes:

Post Your Favorite RBG Decisions on Social
If you can't find the time to do any of the above, minimally, you can perhaps craft a social media post about one of RBG's most impactful decisions to you, or the work your firm does, and highlight it for your social media followers with a little explanation about the case.
