OKC Thunder Announcer Arrested on Child Sex-Abuse Charges

Oklahoma City Thunder public address announcer Jim Miller has been arrested for child sex-abuse charges, USA Today reports.
Miller was removed as the NBA team's announcer following his arrest on three felony counts of lewd or indecent acts with a child under 16. Two of the three alleged victims say there was sexual abuse involved. Miller is also accused of masturbating to computer porn while forcing the three children to watch him, according to court records.
But that's not all.
In addition, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations found 449 pornographic images from a computer hard drive and storage devices. Reports have also surfaced that three protective orders were filed against Miller, KRMG reports. One of them was filed last April by his ex-wife, Becky Dawn Miller.
If convicted, under Oklahoma law Miller could face up to five years imprisonment for the offense. The statute itself is written quite broadly. In addition to touching a child under 16 for a sexual purpose, proposing sexual contact is also prohibited. It's also illegal to invite, entice, or persuade a minor into going to any secret or secluded place for a sexual purpose.
That last one is probably most applicable to Miller's accusations.
Details regarding his arrest are still surfacing. None of the victim's names have been released to the public. However, Miller claims the alleged victims had walked in on him by accident.
The OKC Thunder announcer has been released on $30,000 bail. For now, the investigation into the child sex-abuse charges against Jim Miller is ongoing.
