Free Legal Aid in Omaha

Omaha contains many little known treasures, from its diverse and delicious ethnic food to its award winning Henry Doorly Zoo. At times, low cost legal help in Omaha can also feel like a hidden commodity, but this page is full of information that can help Douglas County residents and other Nebraskans to uncover the legal resources they need. Legal Aid of Nebraska, the largest and most diverse legal aid organization serving Omaha, offers legal help in many practice areas. Other organizations focus on only a few areas of law.

You can also visit Legal Aid Services in Nebraska, an official Nebraska government website, for links to self-help resources and organizations in and outside of Omaha that may be able to help with your particular legal issue. Additionally, the Nebraska Supreme Court has a comprehensive website with links to Nebraska’s pro-bono resources.
