Last updated: October 29, 2013

Lawyers are expensive, but representing yourself against Mr. Corporate Lawyer with the shiny watch and Italian suit may be a tough alternative. You may be able to even the odds by enlisting the help of a Newburgh Legal Aid group today. Legal aid societies specialize in representing poor or vulnerable individuals for free. You should start with an initial consultation to see whether you meet their income guidelines, and then select a lawyer who specializes in your particular legal matter. To make your search easier, we have compiled a list of reliable legal aid groups in and around Newburgh.

  • Orange County Supreme Court Library Self-Help Center
