  Headquartered in Oklahoma City, Legal Aid of Oklahoma has offices around the state and provides legal assistance to low income individuals and senior citizens (age 60+) in civil matters including family law, bankruptcy, public benefits, landlord/tenant, and more. The Tulsa Office covers Pawnee, Creek, Okfuskee, Okmilgee, Rogers, Mayes and Tulsa counties.  In addition to the regular legal services, the Tulsa Office also hosts some special programs including the Homeless Legal Assistance Program, the Medical/Legal Partnership for Children with OU-Tulsa Schusterman Pediatric Clinic, the Women in Recovery Partnership, Hispanic Outreach, and Resolution Oklahoma.  If you need general legal information, check out the Free Legal Information page on the Legal Aid website.   Under the supervision of faculty members, law students at the University of Tulsa College of Law represent low income clients. There are three programs that operate under the auspices of the Boesche Legal Clinic: the Immigrant Rights Programs, the Tulsa Immigrant Resource Network, and Lobeck Taylor Family Advocacy Clinic.

  This nonprofit organization itself does not provide legal advice, but is affiliated with a variety of family law attorneys working as independent contractors at reduced rates.  The stated goal of Legal Alternatives is to provide low and middle income families in crisis situations and in need of family law representation access to the legal system.

  This nonprofit offers a variety of clinics (including medical, dental, and legal) for the "uninsured, low income, unemployed, seniors, handicapped, and the impoverished." The Legal Clinic offers services in family law, wills, contracts and basic property matters, among other issues.  In addition, they note that they will negotiate on behalf of clients with mortgage companies, landlords, auto dealerships, and other contracts.

  This nonprofit group is designed to provide services to those individuals who do not qualify for Legal Aid, but cannot afford a private attorney. Oklahoma Attorney Resources offers legal representation in family law, bankruptcy (Chapter 7 only) and limited criminal matters. Fees are based upon your income level and the number of people living in your household.
