Free Legal Aid in Eugene

Do you have a legal issue, but can’t afford to hire an attorney? There are many free or low-cost legal service options for Lane county residents. Your main options are through legal assistance programs such as the Lane County Legal Aid and Advocacy Center, a non-profit law firm with over 40 years of experience in serving the legal needs of Lane County's low-income residents.

Alternatively, you may be able to find assistance through other programs run by law school clinics. There may be income limits that apply for you to qualify for free/low-cost help.     Good to Know: This is a legal referral service run by the Oregon State Bar for middle-income persons. They assist people whose income is too high to qualify for free legal services, but too low to pay a lawyer’s standard rate.
