Corpus Christi Courthouses

Last updated: June 18, 2023

Corpus Christi---it’s a thriving port city with almost 500,00 residents who call it home. Named by its’ founder Alonso Álvarez de Pineda in 1519, the name literally translates to “Body of Christ.” Here, you will find cowboys and surfers walking side-by-side down the street. Corpus Christi shares a border with Mexico and is notable for many things---Texas A&M, the USS Lexington, windsurfing, the hometown of Selena and delicious cuisine including Mexican and barbecue.

If you’re a Texan living in the “Sparkling City by the Sea,” you know there are a myriad of courthouses in Nueces County. If you have a criminal, civil, probate or family law matter, it’s likely in one of the district or county courts.
