Gambling has a long history throughout human civilization, but has always created controversy in its wake. Specifically, the practice has faced stiff opposition from certain religious groups that claim the practice is immoral and takes advantage of people -- and Utah, with its roots in the Mormon Church (LDS) , is no exception.
