Snooki, JWoww's 'Jersey Shore' Spinoff Must Have 4 Cops at All Times

It seems that producers of the new Jersey Shore spinoff have found a new home for Snooki and JWoww: Jersey City.
The show has reportedly finally gotten the necessary film permits. But it doesn't come without any strings attached.
The dynamic Shore duo will be under the police department's thumb.
There will be at least four police officers outside of the filming location at all times. The police officers will also be following Snooki and JWoww around during filming.
But don't worry, taxpayers. Your hard-earned dollars will not be funneled toward surveillance of the two girls. The show will pay for the off-duty police officer detail. The show's crew has also indicated they will keep their cars out of public parking lots and stick to pay lots.
The show has also promised to pay for any costs incurred if police are required as a result of any Jersey Shore shenanigans.
It's of little surprise that Jersey City officials would be so worried. It's not like the cast of Jersey Shore have an untarnished reputation. After all, they were recently denied a permit by the nearby town of Hoboken. Hoboken officials believed that the presence of the show would be detrimental to the health and safety of their citizens.
Hoboken Mayor Dawn Zimmer even worried about a potential "Snooki sighting" which could spur some sort of public spectacle or stampede.
Yet it seems that Jersey City officials are not as concerned, according to TheCelebrityCafe.com. Mayor Jerramiah Healy thinks the show will be a prime way for the city to promote itself. Perhaps he thinks the presence of Snooki and JWoww will be a boon to Jersey City's tourism?
