'Teen Mom' Jenelle Evans Arrested for 2nd Time in a Week
Who would've thunk it? Jenelle Evans -- arrested again. And for the second time in one week!
The Teen Mom 2 star was booked into North Carolina's Brunswick County jail Monday evening and charged with violating a domestic violence protection order. Unable to post bond, she's apparently still behind bars.
Few additional details have been released, but it's quite possible that the violation involves Evan's ex-roommate, Hannah Inman.
Last week, Jenelle Evans was arrested for allegedly making harassing and threatening phone calls to Inman. She was subsequently released on a $1,000 bond and ordered to appear for a February 7 court date.
Her lawyer disputes those allegations, claiming they "were retribution from a man she accused of cyberstalking." That man -- Evans' former boss -- is now living with Inman.
Whether or not yesterday's arrest is related to last week's incident, Miss Teen Mom will be doing a lot of explaining -- and groveling -- come February.
Evans is still on probation for a 2011 street fight and drug paraphernalia charge, according to the Associated Press. In August, she violated the terms of her probation, having tested positive for marijuana and opiates.
Her latest two arrests are most likely probation violations, too. Probationers are commonly ordered to stay out of trouble with the law.
Three probation violations in six months is a bit excessive -- even for a reality TV star. This blogger wouldn't be surprised if the judge has Jenelle Evans arrested in the courtroom and immediately sent to jail.
