Student Attacks Teacher Over Flying Cheetos

An Indiana high school student attacked his teacher over a bag of flying Cheetos. The bag of Cheetos was thrown outside the school's library as students were waiting for classes to begin.
The Cheetos hit the school's Assistant Principal Roger Francis. He tried to find out who threw it. He asked an unnamed student to come to his office, according to the Huffington Post.
The student refused.
Instead, the student attacked the Assistant Principal. And the entire incident was caught on tape.
"Cheetos went flying everywhere," said Lafayette School Corp. Superintendent Ed Eiler.
The footage was originally posted on YouTube. It was later taken down. But the film evidence still exists on the net:
Another teacher wound up having to pull the student off Francis. None of the parties involved were severely hurt. The intervening teacher did suffer a cut to his nose.
As for the student, he could end up facing harsh penalties. Assaulting a member of the school staff is a class "D" felony in Indiana. He could also end up getting expelled or otherwise disciplined. Eiler noted that the student would be punished in accordance with the school board's policy.
Other students that know the alleged perpetrator are still defending his innocence, reports WLFI-TV.
The student that attacked the teacher is currently suspended. It's still unclear if he was the one who threw the flying Cheetos in the first place.
