Top 10 Celebrity Justice Stories of 2013

Not a year goes by without thousands of celebrity legal troubles and travails, and 2013 was no exception.

While stars like Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, and Phil Robertson may have dominated celebrity news headlines, they didn't quite make the cut when it came to our most-viewed Celebrity Justice posts of 2013.

Running down our red carpet, here are the Top 10 celebrity legal situations we covered this past year:

1. Kim Kardashian preggers, but not divorced: Long before little North West was brought into this world, Kim Kardashian was still technically married to Kris Humphries in January. Call this the legal beginning of KimYe.
2. Victoria's Secret model sued for $3M: In a totally relatable story, Constance Jablonski, the face of Calvin Klein and Christian Dior, was sued for switching modeling agencies before her contract was up. What's a Victoria's Secret angel to do?
3. "Pawn Stars" wedding: The third wedding was the charm for Rick Harrison of "Pawn Stars," but we suggested a few legal safeguards just in case.
4. WWE widow settles for royalties: Owen Hart's widow settled with the WWE over her late husband's likeness and royalties from his rasslin' days in April 2013. The details of the settlement weren't disclosed, but we can assume she's a bit better off.
5. "Price Is Right" pregnancy verdict overturned: Brandi Cochran, a former "Price Is Right" model, thought she'd won her pregnancy discrimination suit against the show. But as fast as you can say "Plinko!," the judge overturned the verdict and ordered a new trial.
6. Rick Ross crashes Rolls Royce: Who knows whether rapper Rick Ross was the victim of a botched assassination attempt or simply just a jumpy driver, but street cred means a lot to this man.
7. Paula Deen's racist deposition: The TV chef certainly was in some hot "ul" when her deposition transcript from a prior suit was revealed to the public. Yet another reason to avoid racial slurs in depos.
8. "Price Is Right" winner gives away tax tips: Turns out winning the "Price Is Right" doesn't solve all your problems, including your tax responsibilities. Before you "come on down" to be a contestant on the show, check out our blog post that breaks it all down.
9. Judge Judy's son embroiled in rape case: Not only is Judge Judith Sheindlin's son a district attorney in Putnam County, New York, but he was also tied to an accused child rape investigation earlier this year. I'm sure his mom had some good advice for him.
10. Real-life "Captain Phillips" sued by his former crew: Along with being played by leading man Tom Hanks in "Captain Phillips," the inspiration for the movie also was a bit less than careful with his crew. In fact, in October, his former crew sued him for negligence. What a dramatic twist!
