Top 3 Cool Jobs This Week: Feeling Hungry for a Tastier Career?
Feeling a gnawing in your belly, but for a better job? Ready to sink your teeth into a new experience? Savoring the idea of a sweater career?
Well, if you've got an appetite a new job (as well as snacks and sweets), we've got some jobs to serve up for you. As part of our affiliate partnership with Indeed, we're bringing you the three coolest jobs we can find this week -- and they all taste great.
1. Senior Counsel, Director, Krispy Kreme
Forget cupcakes, cronuts, and crepes; when you want something sweat and delicious, donuts are where it's at. And few companies make donuts as well as Krispy Kreme, the deep-fried donut empire that now has more than 1,000 shops across the United States.
As Senior Counsel, you'd be responsible for helping Krispy Kreme in all franchise-related legal matters, as well as aiding the company's General Counsel in directing and supervising the in-house legal department.
2. Counsel, Mars, Inc.
Mars has come a long way from its eponymous Mars bars and Milk Ways. The confection company is now the sixth largest privately-held corporation in the United States, selling everything from Orbits gum, to Uncle Bens Rice, to Whiskas brand cat food.
Mars is currently looking for an attorney to join its in-house legal team. Now, technically, this opening is in the company's petcare division, so you wouldn't be working directly in candy law, but we bet you could still snag a nice employee discount on Twix bars. As corporate counsel, you'd be focusing on advertising, sponsorship, and regulatory issues. Mars is looking for someone who is "pragmatic but willing to draw 'a line in the sand' when legal compliance" or corporate ethics demands it.
3. Corporate Counsel, MOD Pizza
If you haven't heard of MOD Pizza before, you probably will soon. MOD is currently the fastest growing pizza chain in the country, fueled in part by the fact that it allows you to customize your pizzas with endless toppings. Think of it as a bit like Chipotle, but for pizza and without the recent E. coli scandal.
As corporate counsel, you would lead this growing company's legal efforts with respect to contracts, IP rights, employment matters, and more, applying your legal expertise to a host of corporate legal issues. Plus, pizza.
