Video of Lawyer in Road Rage Fight Goes Viral

By Aditi Mukherji, JD on June 18, 2013 | Last updated on March 21, 2019

A video of a lawyer in a road rage fight is making the rounds online, reports KABC-TV. The video features two older, well-dressed men in suits having a full-on brawl next to a white BMW. We all know the traffic in L.A. is bad and the road rage is even worse, but California-licensed attorney Randalf Lee Kincaid really doesn’t like the 405 Freeway.

The two men just got off the 405 Freeway at Burbank Boulevard when all of a sudden the Angry Esquire went rogue.

"I thought maybe they knew each other, but then he hit him," said Breuer. "You don't normally see two older guys in ties having a street fight," said witness Jessica Breuer, who captured the fight on her cellphone camera.

According to Breuer, attorney Randalf Kincaid got out of his car first and hit the driver of a BMW, reports KABC-TV.

"As I'm sitting there, suddenly the person in the car in front of me leaps out of his car, he runs over to the car in the other lane, and the guy opens his door, and the guy who had run out just starts hitting him," said Breuer.

But when the Angry Esquire tried to get back into his car, the Other Suit jumped on him and slammed him into the ground and tried to keep him in a choke hold until authorities arrived.

Other rush hour commuters members of the Suit Battalion got out of their cars to help. Eventually, Kincaid was arrested on battery charges.

Kincaid, a graduate of USC's (sucker-punch) Law School, is an active member of the State Bar of California. In his 26 years as an attorney, he has no previous record of disciplinary action.

It's not clear what exactly prompted him to attack the Other Suit. [Insert your lamest billable hour, CLE, alcohol, 2 p.m. crash joke here.] "From what it looked like, he was basically just angry about something that happened on the road. It was road rage," said Breuer.

According to the Other Suit, Kincaid repeatedly said to him, "You could have killed me."

Well, this is going to get pretty awkward if he's a criminal defense attorney. Pro per!
