Death and taxes, that’s how the saying goes. Only Oregon’s tax laws are a little different. Like all states, Oregon charges its citizens taxes to raise funds for state projects and government agencies, but the Beaver State's tax scheme is a bit different. While most state's charge a general sales tax for most types of purchases, Oregon doesn't have a sales tax.
